Terms & Conditions of Sale

These terms apply when you use this website or buy parts online from Mining and Plant Group Pty Ltd (ABN 58 112 528 444), trading as MAP Group. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Prices

• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST.
• Parts priced at AUD 1,000 or more, custom builds and some heavy items are sold on quote only.
• Prices can change without notice. The price charged is the one shown at checkout.
• If a part is clearly mispriced because of an error, we will contact you before shipping and you can cancel for a full refund.

2. Orders and payment

• You need a customer account to buy online.
• Payment is taken by card through Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your card details.
• Your order is confirmed once payment is received and you get a confirmation email.
• If a part turns out to be out of stock or unavailable, we will contact you to offer a delay, an alternative or a full refund.

3. Quotes

A quote request through this website is not an order. Our quote will set out the price, lead time and any specific conditions. Custom builds are covered by the terms in that quote.

4. Delivery

• Freight is calculated at checkout from the delivery postcode and shown as a separate line before you pay.
• Delivery times are estimates. We will let you know if there is a significant delay.
• Please check the goods on arrival and tell us within 7 days about any damage in transit or missing items, with photos if possible.
• Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Returns, refunds and faulty parts

Faulty or wrong parts. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. If we sent the wrong part or it arrived faulty, contact us and we will cover the return freight.

Change of mind. We may accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery when the part is unused, undamaged and in its original packaging. Return freight is paid by you. Parts ordered in specially, made or cut to order, and electrical parts that have been installed can't be returned for change of mind.

To start a return, email enquiries@mapgroup.net.au with your order number before sending anything back. Approved refunds are paid to the original card.

6. Warranty and use of parts

• Any manufacturer's warranty is passed on to you, in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
• Parts must be fitted by a competent person in line with the equipment manufacturer's instructions and site safety requirements.
• Product photos and descriptions are for guidance. Please check part numbers and compatibility, or ask us before ordering.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, and except for the guarantees we can't exclude, our liability for goods bought for business use is limited to replacing or repairing the goods, or refunding their price. We are not liable for indirect losses such as loss of production, downtime or lost profits.

8. Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

9. Website content

The content, photos and designs on this website belong to MAP Group and can't be copied without our permission.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. We may update them from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
